So after corresponding with Robbie, he agreed that we didn't get the service they are used to delivering to their customers. I offered to split the cost of the repair with him since some of it was diagnostic related but he offered to issue us a full refund for the service! A/C issues are never easy to resolve so we plan to give Robbie's another shot in the future. Anyone that stands behind their service like this has my vote! 2009 Honda CRV, A/C was working intermittently when we brought it in to have Robbie's look it over. They called said it was low on refrigerant and that they were going to add more with dye to identify leak. They then called to say they found the leak and replaced a valve. We were then told the compressor was bad and that it would be $2,000 to replace the entire cooling system! They also claimed to have fixed the "check gas cap" error warning our SUV was experiencing but it promptly came back on during the drive home. At the end of the day, we paid $140 dollars for service that resulted in the A/C going from working intermittently to not working at all. We are currently getting a second assessment from another mechanic.
After speaking with my tech it was clear to me that you did not recieve the kind of communication and service that you deserved. We felt the right thing to do was to refund what you paid us. We apologize for the stressful experience you had.
